Thanks again to all of our friends, visitors, and clients for making 2008 a great season and a memorable year. Like the rivers we ply, there were many highs and lows. When we welcomed our beautiful son Rio Orion into the world in May our spirits ran as high as the spring runoff. We enjoyed great fishing throughout the year with a few “shoulda been here yesterday” days to keep us humble.
We are excited to expand our services to Zihuatanejo Mexico, come explore the coastline and offshore waters of this friendly Mexican city. My wife and I were married here and virtually stumbled onto an undiscovered flyfishing paradise. Sadly our year closed with the untimely passing of my wifes father, we will greatly miss him, and dedicate this season to his memory.
Being based in Homer, AK. gives us at Kachemak Guide Bureau a unique opportunity to access land not heavily traveled. We take full advantage of any opportunity to visit rivers and streams not often seen, let alone fished, and we will continue to expand our field of operation by going any place our air taxis will take us.
